Is your Methylene Blue COA certified?

Yes! Purity is our top priority at Blue Tung, and always has been.
Our Methylene Blue is sourced from a reputable chemical laboratory in the UK, tested both in-house and by a third-party for each batch. Every lot comes with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) verifying quality and purity.

We are very selective with our sourcing because not all MB is made equal — and unfortunately, there's a lot of questionable product out there.

How many micrograms are in your drops?

Due to our formula being 1.3% (rather than the standard 1%), each drop contains approximately 800 micrograms.
Drop size can vary slightly depending on the bottle and pressure, but that’s a close average.

How do you take it?

There are a few ways:

- Orally: Add a few drops into a glass of water, juice, or something citrus-based (to help with the bitter taste). Be mindful — it stains easily.

- Directly: Some customers drop it straight into the mouth, but it will stain your tongue bright blue for a few hours. Only do this if you don’t mind.

- Inhalation: You can add a few drops to a nebuliser and breathe in the vapour for a stronger cognitive effect.

What is the correct dosage?

The honest truth: it’s highly individual.

We generally recommend starting small and slow — 1–5 drops — and then adjusting based on how you feel.
Most people eventually take around 10–20 drops at a time.
But again, it depends on your metabolism, sensitivity, and overall system health.

Are there any contraindications?

Yes — Methylene Blue is not for everyone.

We advise caution (or complete avoidance) if you:

- Have a G6PD deficiency (Methylene Blue can cause serious complications)

- Are pregnant or breastfeeding

- Are taking SSRIs, SNRIs, or other serotonergic medications (risk of serotonin syndrome)

- Have significant kidney issues

- Are undergoing certain treatments where MB may interfere (always consult your healthcare provider)

When in doubt, check with your practitioner before use.

Will it stain my teeth?

If you have natural teeth, it won't stain permanently — though they might look hilariously blue for a little while.
Actually, many customers notice a slight whitening effect over time, similar to how purple shampoo cancels yellow tones.

However, if you have veneers, dentures, or other dental work, there is a risk of permanent staining. Proceed carefully.

Can I take Methylene Blue alongside the Bye Bye Bad Guys protocol?

Yes, but with a tweak.
Our Bye Bye Bad Guys capsules already contain a small amount of Methylene Blue (about 800mcg — the equivalent of one of our drops).
So if you’re taking the protocol, you might want to pause your liquid MB and let the formula work on its own for now.

How does your shipping work?

We aim to ship orders within 24–48 hours of purchase.
You'll get a fulfillment email with tracking once your order is on the way.

- New Zealand flat rate: $12 AUD

- Free standard shipping within Australia for orders over $100 AUD

Once a parcel is marked as successfully delivered, it becomes your responsibility. However, if your package is lost or damaged during transit, get in touch at hello@bluetung.co — we’re happy to help.

Do you offer returns?

We do not accept returns on opened or used products.
If your item is unopened and you wish to return it, contact us to arrange it.
You’ll need to cover return postage, and once we inspect and approve it, we’ll issue your refund through our website platform.
