Main Benefits

What makes this organ blend different?

Spleen-led Blend

Liver gets all the attention, but the spleen is where iron collects, because it recycles old red blood cells. Gram for gram, ours carries around 28 times more iron than our liver. So the blend is 60:40, spleen first.

Freeze-Dried

The spleen and liver are freeze-dried, not heat-dried. The water comes out at low temperature to help protect heat-sensitive nutrients like vitamin A and folate.

Grass-fed + finished

Organic Australian beef from cattle that are grass-fed and grass-finished, with no grain finishing. The organs come from Australian cattle and are encapsulated here in Australia.

Clean formula

No fillers, no flow agents, no added iron salts, no bulking powders. Just organic spleen and liver in a bovine gelatin capsule. Three ingredients. That's it.

FAQs

Does it taste like liver?

No. The capsules are swallowed whole, so there's no taste. When you open the jar you might notice a faint savoury smell. That's just what freeze-dried organs smell like, and we don't add anything to cover it up.

How long does a jar last?

There are 120 capsules in a jar. At 4 a day it lasts 30 days, and at 2 a day it lasts two months. Take them with food. Some people like to start with 2 and work up.

Can I take this with other supplements?

Yes, but check what's already in them. A 4-capsule serve has 632mcg of vitamin A and 9.4mg of iron. If you also take cod liver oil, a multivitamin or an iron supplement, add those amounts together. Adults shouldn't regularly go over 3,000mcg of vitamin A a day from all sources. If you're unsure, check with your healthcare practitioner.

Who shouldn't take it?

It's not suitable for people with haemochromatosis or other iron overload conditions. If you're pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, check with your healthcare practitioner first, because liver is high in vitamin A. Keep out of reach of children.

Is it tested?

Yes. The spleen and liver are tested for nutrition and microbiology by a NATA-accredited Australian lab. Certificates of analysis are available on request.

Why beef organs?

For most of human history, organs were the prized cuts, not the leftovers. Nose-to-tail eating meant nothing went to waste, and for good reason: gram for gram, organs carry more vitamins and minerals than the muscle meat most of us eat today. Liver is one of the richest food sources of vitamin A and B12.

Today most of us skip them. Liver is an acquired taste, and spleen is hard to find at most butchers. These capsules bring both back in a form that's easy to keep up with. No cooking, no prep, just capsules with a meal.
